Most of our employees are ex-Seagoe Ceramics, with some having over 40 years of experience in this industry. This wealth of experience and knowledge has been a key factor in our success and has allowed us to continuously improve and innovate in our field.
Our company was formed in 2002, following the closure of the former Wade/Seagoe Ceramics plant in Craigavon, Northern Ireland. This plant had a long history of producing high-quality ceramics and was known for its precision and technical expertise. When the company closed, it was a natural step for our experienced employees to come together and form ACE, carrying on the legacy of Seagoe Ceramics.
One of the unique aspects of our company is that we use raw, milled alumina in our manufacturing process. This allows us to have full control over the quality of our materials, resulting in superior alumina products. Our production process includes isostatic pressing, ‘green’ machining, sintering, and diamond grinding, all of which contribute to the precision and quality of our final products.
